Hi, Dora, What was once called Chalk Hill is now simply "Chalkhill." Perhaps tourism caused a change in the Deer Lake Road name. It now appears as Ohiopyle Rd in Wharton Twp. and Kentuck Rd in Stewart Twp. Trail - and a small body of water that my guess is is Deer Lake. >Next question; where is Wharton? Google maps says it's a >tiny hamlet a couple of miles on down the road away from Uniontown, from >Chalk Hill. Wharton is the name for both a very large Twp. and a tiny cross-roads which is actually called Wharton Furnace as there was an old iron furnace there - - - the remains are interesting to visit. There is a Lutheran Church and Cemetery on the Deer Lake Rd aka Ohiopyle Rd. likely near where the Raymond farm was located. Sorry but I cannot help you with the White School House outside of Bruceton Mills unless you can find mention of a stream or "run." Best regards, Jane
