CLARK11 HAMILTON (JOHN JEROME10, ROBERT9, DAVID8, AUDLEY HARRISON7, ALEXANDER6, WILLIAM5, JAMES4, CLAUDE BARON OF PAISLEY3, JAMES "2ND EARL OF ARRAN"2, JAMES "1ST EARL OF ARRAN"1) was born November 06, 1846 in Sandy Creek,Taylor County, WV, and died February 1933 in Newburg WV. He married HARRIET JOSPHINE CONLEY Unknown in Place unknown. Notes for CLARK HAMILTON: C. HAMILTON, NEWBURG, DIES OF PNEUMONIA: Funeral Services for Deceased will be held Sunday 2:30 p.m. Clark Hamilton, 85, a retired farmer of Newburg diedthis morning at 12:27 o.clock at his home following an illness of three weeks of complications incident to old age which developed into pneumonia. Mr. Hamilton was the last member of a large family. He was the son of John J. and Matilda Costelo Hamilton and was born on Sandy Creek November 06, 1848 and resided in that community all of his life until about ten years ago when he retired and located in Newburg. He was a brother of the late J. Wesley Hamilton former member of the Taylor county court, and a prominent West side citizen for many years until his death several years ago and also a brother of the late Mrs. L. E. Ward of this city. Besides the widow, eight childern survive: Mrs Minnie Ridenour of Kingwood; Mrs Matilda Clarkson of Newburg; Mrs Gertrude Wolf, Newburg; Mrs. Lena Orr, Independence; Mrs Persis Boice, Pruntytown; Mrs. Edna Zinn, Newburg; Miss Ruth Hamilton at home, and a son L.E. Hamilton of Tunnleton. ! The widow, who was Miss Harrett Josepine Conley before her marriage is very ill at her home. Mr. Hamilton was a member the Otterbine Chapel United Brethren Church in Barbour County, and an exemplary christian gentlman. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2: 30 o.clock from the late home by Rev. E. H. Waters, U.B. minister of Fairmont who will be assisted by Revs. Arbogast and Earle of Newburg.
