He married Mary Jane Coe. She was b 1812 and d 1898 in Jackson Co., WV. Both are buried in Medowdale Cemetery, Sandyville, Jackson Co., WV They had 9 children. I have some fairly extensive information on the Knotts and I have neither a John born @1818 nor a spouse named Mary Jane Coe. Are you sure about the birthplace?
