The map ledgend says it was surveyed in 1905: topography by A. M. Walker, assistant J. R. McMillen. Culture (man-made objects) revised in 1923 by E. I. Ireland. Reprinted 1942. Two buldings are shown on the map, both between the railroad, which it labels the Baltimore & Ohio, and the river. Today a substantial sawmill occupies the site. The old map is the Kingwood Quadrangle, 15-minute series, which the USGS no longer prints. Hope this is of some help. Gary
