There is no Dennis listed in either book. In the 1882 Wiley book, there are two Dennis listed as members of the Cuppett (Luthern) Church in the Grant District: David and Catharine. The church was organized Sept 2, 1843. I got this out of my Morton's History of Preston Co., Volume I. Christopher Dennis, a native of Germany, came to Glade Farms about 1820. The following is his family: DENNIS, Christopher m. ??? 1. Henry - Pa. 2. John - Pa. 3. Mary - married Henry Sliger 4. Elizabeth b. 1788 d. 1859 - m. John Rishel 5. Barbara m. Stephen Guthrie 6. David m. Catharine Strawser.
