The only other source I have is Connie Cox's "Our Place in History,Southwestern Preston County, WV," published this year. She devotes a chapter to Sinclair in which she says that "...Amos & Melinda Ridgeway, owned the land surrounding the Sinclair School and Church. Amos was the son of Lott Ridgeway..." Her source is Roy Lockhart's "Preston County WV (then VA) Records 1853-1860, Births 1853-1859, Marriages 1853-1860, Deaths 1853-1859;" Extracted from microfilm;1998. Happy Hunting, Rita
