    1. [WV Preston County] Preston County Freelands and Civil War
    2. There is an opportunity to provide information for an article about the Freelands for a newspaper article. Does anyone have information they could share? Thanks Beverly Walter

    3. Hello, Edythe (Edith) Freeland was the Postmistress in Corinth, W.Va. (in the 30's). She and her sister Ida lived in a house by the post office, and raised beautiful flowers. An alley separated the house we lived in on the other side of the post office. Edythe and Ida, use to stop and get us, Arthur and I, and walk with us to the Methodist Church, on Sunday morning. Ida walked with a cane. If we did not sit still in church she would hook one of our legs with a her cane. Both the sister were fond of children, and many children were invited into their home and treated with homemade cookies. We moved from Corinth in late 1934 or early 1935. Rosalie Miller-Miller
