The Fishers are a difficult bunch to track down - at least my kin. Amos my great great grandfather was born in West Virginia and died in Fayette County PA, but buried in Glade Farms, WV (Monogalia). His father was supposedly John Fisher married to Rachel Casteel - the whole clan from MD. Both have been nearly impossible to find on the internet. So I guess I'll have to go the old fashioned way and visit up in PA and WV this summer and get the real information from courthouses. The people you mention in your post do not ring any bells with me - yet. The further I dig, the more information I unearth and I'm sure will eventually pop up later down the line in my research. I will definitely keep in touch with you concerning any thing I find that relates to your Fishers. Thanks Again!
