Surnames: look up problem- please read Classification: Lookup Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/IEC.2ACE/811.4 Message Board Post: i am having trouble with scans of requested articles being returned, because of size.i have had to use scanner as to type so much out would create a project i wouldn't be able to complete( i type about 4 words a minite) . if i were more computer literate or scanner literate ,i might be able to get around issue.maybe, compressing files then scanning.i have a cheap scanner which may not even do such a thing. right now i am getting many returns saying max size accepted on these servers is 500KB. the only other thing i know that causes mail returns is when you use a server who gives space to store copies of recieved mail .a max amount of space is allowed for free by mine. reach this and maybe you can send, but not get mail. you have to empty this storage space to fix problem.i had thought my server would either let me know or clear some space automatically. not true! i have to do it myself. so, i am sending a lot and though i still have not at all answered everyone. it is not that i am ignoring you.actually i am putting much time into this! solutions appreciated.
