finding my roots in Preston County is like finding a needle in a haystack especially when the name is William Smith. The records at the courthhousr in PC say that he was buried in Corinth in 1909, but it doesnt say where, Were there every any cemeteries in Corinth, or was this a case of being buried under the old tree in the back yard. I do know that he and his wife Elizabeth lived in Corinth and had 12 children Some of those names were. Charles, Daniel, William jr, Maude Della, Daisy, Bertha, Ethelinda, Simon, Julia, Mary, George, and Lucy. His wifes maiden name was DEAHL. After the death of William, she moved the children to Austen to operated a boarding house for the coal mines there. Is there anyone who is researching any of these names?
