Dear Susan, How generous of you to offer to scan articles from your uncle's fragil book! I have a suggestion. Use a digital camera with macro capability, preferably on a tripod, to photograph the page on which the article is located. upload the picture to a folder in your computer and label it by page number. This is much easier on the book and just as good as a scan, and it is MUCH faster than scanning! I know because this is how I recorded family history pages in old bibles.
