    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: calverts Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/IEC.2ACE/770.2.1.1 Message Board Post: only a very short index. to find most people requires a page by page search.futher down in this post i will explain why i can't give you a quick response right here.( dog almost destroyed it) having almost finished answering requests found through this index.i will start a more thorough search soon , but with a book in such bad condition and a list of names to keep referring to , it might take me a while. also, as book is in pieces, index floated to the floor the other night, where a dog i am "babysitting" ( a 90 pound, huge Samoyed)decided to sleep on it. i am now trying to take the little shreds and tape index back together. this name is familiar and i will always get back to you anytime i see any name you give me mentioned in book. anything you can add like names of spouses or relations in area, even guesses, can provide great help in directing me to a place in book which might have information. it has surprised me that a book which has such a short index & seemingly limited focus, as a collection of articles on a select group of people, actually contains as much information on other people as i have run across.still it is not any kind of official record and most people probably are not to be found in this sort of book.yet, if the one your need is here the imformation is often very personal and more than would be found in usual records.most names i am noticing seem to be ,always, of course found within an article about someone else! you'd not expect to find such information coming up as dicussions about a neighbor or brother in law or whatever.please send all requests to my email address, as it gives me a better way to keep track of things. i am less than experienced in doing such work. also, i have ,a few times ,run into a "scan size "issue, which results in articles being returned. a kind person has offered to help me with learning how to compress scanned artic! les before i email, whom i will be in contact with soon. if it comes to no other solution to sending articles ( sometimes many pages long) if anyone would like, i'll always just copy articles and mail to any provided address sent to me. home, business or anyplace a letter can be picked up by you. be patient and send information requests to my email, my list is getting long and i am trying to keep organized. i will always do my best to answer with max details!! .susan
