This newspaper was discontinued due to rumors that the press would be destroyed and the Row brothers hanged. There is a biographical sketch on George Row in the Biographical and Historical Cyclopedia of Indiana and Armstrong Counties, Pennsylvania, by John M. Gresham & Co., 1891, pages 141-143 (Indiana Co) which also mentions his brother Amos and contains information regarding the Kingwood Chronicle. Roy Lockhart
