WOW!!!!!!!!!! Isn't this just amazing. I have been researching my husbands line and his grandmother was Ruth Fortney, daughter of Vernor Peter Pell Fortney and Minnie Olive Wolfe. I have his name as Vernor and not Vernon. Which is correct??? His g g grandparents were Barton and Emily Squires and g g g was Daniel and Leah Menear. My husband also has Shahan and Shannon, and Wiles in his main lines. All are from the Tunnelton #4 area and Rowlesburg. I am a new subscriber to this list and I am thrilled to get this information.
