In the Indiana Weekly Messenger of Sept. 7, 1898 Amos along with 39 other veterans went to the national encampment of the GAR in Cinncinnati. In the Indiana Progress of May 12 1887 he is on the committee for Memorial Services on Memorial Day. He also went to the encampment at Scranton PA in 1886. Dec 3, 1902, The Indiana Gazette, "George Rowe, Esq., of Lorain, O. is visiting his brother, Amos Row." The Indiana Democrat, Oct. 18, 1883 "Amos Row, of Clearfield, Pa, who has not been in town for the last fourteen years, accompanied by his sister, Mrs. Woods, of Reading, Pa. who is on her way to Western Virginia. They are guests of George Row, Esq." Amos is also in the 1890 Veteran's Schedulle, Co A 149th Inf. in Indiana Pa. He had a gunshot wound to his right thigh. The Amos Row in Clearfield is probably not Amos Sr. as in the 1910 census in Clearfield there is an Amos C. Row, age 58. But he is probably a relative. Hope this helps.
