JoAnn, I have skimmed the four reels of microfilm containing the George W Fairfax Papers and made copies of selected documents but have not yet made an in-depth search of these valuable records. Some early court records were published in the newspapers of Preston and neighboring counties. Has anyone looked at the court records in the George W Fairfax Papers? Since early court records are scarce, these could be very important. > JoAnn Cupp > Grass Valley, CA > > > Title: Fairfax, George W.
