I've attached on of two photos I have of Mary Samantha. In the other one she is in her upper years with her daughter. I have no photos older then the one I've attached of any Fortney. I have more photos of the next geneation and younger of Fortneys, ans Shahans plus some Sigley, Trickett, etc. I can't get excited about DNA testing. There is positive documentation that Draper & Vernon were fathered by a Pell, and a test won't prove it was Albert. The letter is probably about a close as I'm going to get for documentation on an out-of-wedlock situation. I checked, and Karen has the original letter and was the one who had the 8x10 photos taken. She won't let it out of her hands, but just sent me a 600dpi JPEG scan of the original and I'm working on it in Photoshop now. My wife is working on a transcription. I apoligize for the large size of the picture attached, but for genealogy, I would want a photo with enough pixels to have printed. Clarke
