Watson;m.Fairfax, son of Rawley Watson;m.Whip, son of Wm. Watson Jr.;m.Tansey, son of Wm. Watson;m.Patton, son of David Watson;m.Sarah ?. Wm. Watson Sr.came here from eastern VA. in 1790 and was one of the first settlers of "Hartley Green" now known as Masontown, WV. Wm. Sr. children; John, David, Jacob, Nancy, Mary, Jane, and William Jr. Wm. Jr. children; Rawley, Wm.(drownd),Thomas, Sylvanus, John William, Granvil, Almira Ann, and Charity Elizabeth. Much of this info. comes from a Preston Co. history book from 1913, and from a Prof. at WVU named Samuel Boardman Brown and researched by a D. Watson.
