Anna Ash, settle at Browns Mill, Pres.Co.WV., 1805+/-. They had 8 children; Samuel Byrne, Elizabeth, John Buckner, George, Lydia, William, Mary Ann, and Thomas Francis. I have a Granville Brown ("Esq." of Halleck,WV.) m. Elizabeth Watson and had at least two children, James and Samuel. It looks as though Granvilles father was John Buckner Brown, but my notes are a mess. One other thing, for what ever reason, at the top of my notes I wrote Wm. B. Brown of Browns Mill.
