Hi Breezy, Found no Hoff/Huff, but------??? Oren Morton, "History of Preston Co., WV" vol. II Philip Huffman came from Monongalia about 1843, settling on the Elijah S. Huffman farm near Marquess. The late Francis M. was a prominent citizen of that locality. -----and, for more Fike research, I highly recommend the book "Christiian Fike and His Descendants" by Merilyn B. Fike Morrow, 5215 Casa Grande Rd., Temple, Pa. 19560, printed by Masthof Press, Rt. 1, Box 20 Morgantown, Pa. 19543, 1996,---1348 pgs. and pictures of lots of Fikes, hardbound and I think around $35 from the author.
