I didn't know your Dad real well, but Bill and Pat know me. Kitty's daughter, and I am about the same age as "Popcorn"; do you remember him? Also, David in Florida knows me, but I haven't heard from him for a long time. I used to visit him years ago, but haven't seen him since Uncle Don died, I think. It's great to know you're looking into this, and I'm wondering if someone in the Bucklew family might be able to help. Many of our ancestors were preachers, and someone may have a bible, or records of marriages performed by them. Perhaps Joseph A. Young's parents would be shown on a marriage record. Let me know when you find a death cert. as there should be one of those, as you say. One thing I've run into is Mennonites in my line from Pennsylvania, and some say they didn't always conform to the civil authorities as far as record keeping, and perhaps this is the problem; but it wouldn't surprize me to find the Youngs came from Pa. Another place I'm looking into is central NYS as I've seen a lot of our family names there, around 1790. Just can't connect them to WV. Best of luck and hang in there, Kathy
