I have checked at the courthouse and they do not have a death record for him, that is why I was trying to find an obituary for him. I am hoping if there is one that it will list any siblings he might have had. That might help me find his parents. Is there any way to search the sites you gave me from the internet? I live just north of Nashville, TN and am not able to get there myself. Thanks Sharon

You could try to write a letter to the Clerk of the Court in Oakland, Garrett County, Maryland. Wouldn't hurt since Terra Alta is so close to Garrett County.
