Roy: Thanks for the Info. I am wondering if maybe a Carrico married the Widow of Julius Hood. Not having any dates makes it difficult to research. Julius Hood left town about 1816 and I can't find Hoods in 1820 in Preston Co. All the people from Preston Co who are in Lenawee Co. MI are living in the same Town as my John Conley Hood . I can not make the link from John and his brother Frederick Hood back to Preston Co or to any family. If there is no Francis Carrico where did Morton come up with the name? Georgina
