I am looking for anyone that has connections to the Shank family that spent about 20 - 30 years in Preston County back in the late 1800. I have just started working this line and believe that they came from Pennsylvannia to Maryland to West Virginia with some moving on to Michigan sometime in the 1920's. This is my ex-husband's family and his father has passed so my starting information is a bit limited.
