Greetings, Does anyone have the parents of Sylvania Gooding/Goodwin b. about 1833 in VA, who was the second wife of John Gooding/Goodwin b. 1804? After John Gooding/Goodwin died about 1880, Sylvania ended up in SouthUnion, Fayette Co., PA, she appears to have married James Vance as she is also in the Wharton Twp., 1880 census. I don't know what happen to her afterwards. I would like to know more about Sylvania. If anyone is interested in this family I have more. I have her parents as a Balsinger, but cannot find proof.
