John Corbly which occured on May 10, 1782. The attack occurred along the banks of Muddy Creek, but my sources have me confused as to whether the Muddy Creek referred to is the one in Preston Co., WV, or the one in Greene Co., PA. After the attack, the stricken family was taken into a fort. Would this have been Fort Morris? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
