George, I checked the Preston County marriage books I have. I do not find where a Ringer married a Rodeheaver. However, because there are over three dozen Rodeheavers in the marriage records, and also numerous Ringers, I need a first name as I am not too fond of typing each one when I do not know if they belong to you. I am distantly related to some Rodeheavers, through the Fike's, Wolfe's, and others, mostly those associate with the Brethren religion. The gospel song writer, Homer Rodeheaver is a distant cousin. Janice , By chance, would you or George have any listing for a Mahala Ringer b. 1843 d. 1888. She married, in Garrett County, Maryland to Andrew Friend. However, I can't find her family. On her marriage record she is listed as Mahala Browning, but in the family bible and several obits for her children, she is listed as Mahala Ringer. It is just a mystery that I would like to solve, so even though this is a very long shot, I thought I would ask. Many thanks, Pat-T
