I'm curious if you might know anything about the name of the Goshen Baptist Church in Greene Co., PA. The Baptist association of churches in the counties of northcentral West Virginia are called the Goshen Association; the Forks-of-Cheat Baptist Church, founded in 1775 in Monongalia Co., WV is a part of the Goshen Association. Is this just a co-incidence, or is there a relationship that goes back to the days when Virginia claimed what is now southwestern Pennsylvania? Sincerely, Steve
