I just looked in my book again. It doesn't give a page number for the WVR book. It goes on to say that the spelling of Moses Tichenor changed to Tichenal after he left New Jersey. I'm not sure why the writer used the WVR as a reference if he isn't in the book. Thanks for the look-up and reply. Susie, Moses Tichenor is in the book. Sort of. The write-up for David Tichinal on page 287 states he served in the militia as a substitute for his father, Moses Tichinal.
