That Ruth born ca 1750's, her parents died when she was young. I do not have spouse information to verify. Could that be your relation? I have a little more information that others have sent me. My line came from Rockingham County, VA and Hardy County, (W) VA to Ray County, MO. I don't have a map handy to see my VA counties are close to your Hampshire County.
