To whomever wants to reads this: Hello, my name is Melinda Clark-Black. I was born in Taylor County at Grafton Hospital in July 1957. I was raised for the first 18 years of my life in Preston County in the community called "Manown". After I graduated from K.H.S. (Kingwood High School), I attended college in Marion County at F.S.C. (Fairmont State College) from Aug. 1975 until May 1979. Then in Sept. 1979, I got married. I met my husband through a computer dating service and we got married after knowing each other for just 5 days. We left Fairmont, WV and drove to Falls Church, VA (Greenbriar County) on Sept. 1st which was a Saturday. Now the key is that we talked on the telephone long distance for 4 hours on Friday Aug. 31st, 1979 and so we had to meet each other cause it was like we had known each other all of our lives. So on Sept. 5th, 1979; we tied the knot and got married at my husbands friends house with a preacher. This coming Sept. 5th, we will be celebrating our 23rd Anniversary.
