I'm not sure who made the above comment, but I've spent many an hour there at several different times over the past 15 years, and found a great deal of information on local Preston County history and genealogy. If the above person did NOT ask for assistance from the librarians, then they missed the large number of books that were (and perhaps still are) not on the open stacks. Please try again. I have to join Jim. Several years ago I got a lot of information at the Kingwood library. Unless they disposed of the books, and I doubt it, they must still be there somewhere. Jean
