I found that I have this obituary, thought you might want it. Martha Turney Friend, aged 89 years, died this morning, December 28, at her home in Friendsville where she had been a patient for the past nine days. She was the daughter of the late Isaac and Frances Meyers Turney and was born in Friendsville October 8, 1872. She had been a resident her entire life. Her husband, Harry Friend, died in 1952. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Chauncey M. Friend, Markelysburg, Pa.; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Leighton Funeral home in Oakland and will be taken to the residence of Mrs. Friend in Friendsville Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon from the Blooming Rose Methodist church. Interment will be in Blooming Rose Cemetery.
