Are you researching the David O. White Family? If so, we have a note that he had two children (no reference for the note)--Son Thomas and Daughter Lylian/Lynia. There is a cemetery at "the Old White Place" once called Pleasantdale (now possibly called Wooddale?)--David Oglevie is supposed to be buried there. Any info you would like to share on these White families would be greatly appreciated. Our E-Mail is [email protected] Have a nice day.
I am also researching the White family. I show that David Olgivie White was married twice (Mary Matheney and Eve Sypolt). From 1860 Census Records and Janice Cale Sisler's "In Remembrance" books I have identified 5 children of David and Mary. Infant (unnamed) - died 27 Sep 1846. Buried in St. Joes Cemetery in Albright. Thomas E. - born about 1840 Lydia C. - born about 1843 James S. - born 31 May 1845 George W - unknown That's about all I know. I would be interested in what you have on the White's. I am descended through Francis Willis, James Clark, Clark E White.
