Apparently they enlisted in the service at Norfolk in 1814 from Monongalia, now Preston County.

In Samuel Wiley's book on Preston Co., WV, Jacob Newal and John Newel are mentioned on page 293. Could someone who has this book responded. I own the Index, but not the book. Rosalie
