Roy----when I was visiting in Kingwood last year and doing research at the library, they were the ones who sent me to the Preston County Journal office to borrow the microfilms to use in the library reader. The Journal people couldn't have been more courteous and helpful and leaving my drivers license there was much simpler than driving to Morgantown, finding a place to park, do my research and then have to drive back to Kingwood over that curvaceous Rt. 7. Leaving the driver's license is not unusual at all; most shopping malls require this when you want to use a stroller, wheelchair or motorized scooter to get around the mall so the Journal is not asking anything unusual to assure the return of their microfilms.
