When I used the Kingwood Library microfilm reader printer this summer to look at the Preston County Journal microfilms the reader printer was in very bad repair and was scratching the microfilm as it moved along through to reader printer scraping off part of the print. I could see checking that there was a lot of scraping on the film already so I thought this must have been happening for a while. I stopped working with the film and took it back to the newspaper office. The nice people there told me the university in Morgantown creates their microfilm and has a copy, and that the Terra Alta Public Library also has the film and a good new reader printer.
