George Reason Burke was born June 16, 1858 in Preston County, (West ) Virginia, died Decmeber 6, 1946 in Kingwood. He's buried in Burke Cemetery. His wife was Emma Louise Pratt born March 22, 1859. Hiram Greenberry Burke was born in 1822 in Monongalia County, West Virginia. He married Nancy Ann Riley. My husband is descended from their son Jesse Jeremiah Fitch Burke. (1) James Holt, (2) Hiram Orr; Mary went to Indiana; Calder b. 1817 d. 1902 m. Deborah Menear; Joseph M. b. 1810 d. 1898 m. Harriet Morgan and went to Iowa; Henry b. 1825 d. 1898 m.
