The more famous of these would be David Spessert b. 1777 in MD, d. 1868 in Preston Co., and Alexander Sanders (son of Hiram Sanders and probably buried in Preston Co. as well) b. 1800 and d. 1863 - both in Preston Co. I will be in Kingwood tomorrow at the Preston Co. Courthouse and would love to be able to find these burial sites and those of their kin. Thanks for your help. Hi Deborah, Please keep in mind I did not have a index to look up your family names. Therefore it could have been easy for me to over look names. My copy of the census came from www.heritagequest.com and may have been copies of copies. Handwriting can be difficult to read and also on most of the bottoms of the pages, you cannot read names at all. Below is the closest I could find for your request without a index.
