Results showed 8 children, including Jemima. Jemima alone was listed in the Pedigree Resources Section. That showed her father, Thomas Washington, was born 24 Mar 1730/31, Stafford, VA, Died 1794, Southampton, VA. The Pedigree continues: The Father of Thomas is listed as John Washington, born 1684/86, Surry, Prince George,VA; Died 14 Mar 1754(Place blank). John married Elizabeth ___ 1724 in southampton, VA. There is more: John's Father is listed as Richard Washington and Mother is listed as Elizabeth Jordan. There may be additional pedigree on each of them. Regrettably, no Source is listed for the information, BUT the NAME AND ADDRESS of the person who submitted the information IS listed. The 1890 censes was destroy by fire in Washington. To whomever responds to this: Can somebody lookup in the 1890 Preston County Census of a Jasper Hill and his wife was Martha Howard-Hill. Thayerville is what I would call a "settlement area". It is located on Rt. 219, in what is now the "business center" for Deep Creek Lake. It is between Glendale Road and Lake Shore Drive, should you want to find it on a map. There is a cemetery there also. If your familiar with the area, Will O' Wisp hotel is located in "Thayerville". Obits: SARA ETTA LIPSCOMB, 83, died unexpectedly at the home of her son, George LIPSCOMB in Aurora. Born October 30, 1868 at Tunnelton, WV, she was the daughter of Alex and Jeremia (FUNK) BOLYARD. She was a member of the Lutheran Church. Surviving: Five sons, (only fours listed in obit) Homer D. LIPSCOMB, Oakland; Robert P. LIPSCOMB, Morgantown; J. Roy LIPSCOMB, George R. LIPSCOMB, of Eglon; two daughters, Mrs. Delia SIMS, Mrs. Daisy SHILLINGBERG of Aurora; two brothers, Perry BOLYARD, Oakland; Doliver BOLYARD of Coulee, Washington; 28 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church with Rev. F. I. Peters, former pastor of the Aurora Methodist Church assisted by the Rev. Donald Gallion, pastor of the Red House Lutheran Church. Also, the 1870 census apparently gives significantly different ages for the Samuel E. Taylor family. It may come down to eliminating the possibility of any other Olive Taylor born in Preston Co being near the right age.

Olive was born May 3, 1865 and should have been 14 at the time of the census (if taken in April, 1880) but census ages are notoriously off so I'll try to find addl proof of parentage. Witness' were quite often a member of the family. Recall that "Yohogania" Co., Va., comprised a great deal of WV at that 1777 date. Someone correct me if I am wrong, please.
