    3. Bev, W.H. Smith, age 35, married on 1 June, 1892 , to A.L. Deavers, both born in Preston Co., both residing in Preston Co. at the time of their marriage. I have seen your request previously. Do you know their religion? There was a Methodist Church in Corinth that was founded around 1900 or before. Perhaps, you could find some old membership, baptism or marriage records in one of the local churches. I only remember the Methodist, but I was 8 when I left there, and age does things to my memory. 2. Dear Preston Countian's Hello, I was also raised in Preston County for the 1st 18 years of my life. I was a Clark from Manown which is a community not incorporated between Kingwood and Reedsville off of Route 7. What district is Manown, Borgman and Howesville classified under? Then whatever that district is for Howesville or Borgman can you do a census for the following name: Laughlin/Loughlin/Loughrie/Lockey--Clarke/Clark. This was my g.g.grandfather and he lived in Borgman from 1873 until 1884. He died in July of 1884. He came from Ireland in 1836 to America. He first settled in Maryland and then by 1873 he settled in Preston County. Thanks Melinda Clark-Black native from Preston County, WV currently living in Chester County, PA
