The Barbara (?) I have married to Stephen Bolyard I have no dates on--Stephen was b. abt 1760. Do you have dates on their children; I only have a birthdate for John b. Dec 15 1793 who married Elizabeth Runner.

The Fishers are a difficult bunch to track down - at least my kin. Amos my great great grandfather was born in West Virginia and died in Fayette County PA, but buried in Glade Farms, WV (Monogalia). His father was supposedly John Fisher married to Rachel Casteel - the whole clan from MD. Both have been nearly impossible to find on the internet. So I guess I'll have to go the old fashioned way and visit up in PA and WV this summer and get the real information from courthouses. The people you mention in your post do not ring any bells with me - yet. The further I dig, the more information I unearth and I'm sure will eventually pop up later down the line in my research. I will definitely keep in touch with you concerning any thing I find that relates to your Fishers. Thanks Again!

They are my brick wall so far. My g-g-grandfather Obie Thorton Cuppett married Etta Pearl Fisher. She was the daughter of a Thomas Fisher and Isabella Thomas. I just recently found my connection with Isabella, but have seen nothing on Thomas. I know that he must have died in his 20s as she had remarried at about age 32 or so. I did see a Thomas Fisher on the 1870 and 1880 censuses for Fayette County, he was working for Christian Thomas. Have you ever heard of a Thomas Fisher in the family, born ca 1860? If I ever come across anything, I will be sure to let you know. Also, if you need any information on the Cuppetts, I can give you what I have and also put you in touch with someone who has much more info than I do. Just let me know.
