Does anyone know if Michal/Michael Harholt/Harold had a daughter Catherine who married a Thomas Simmons in 1814 in Pendleton Co?

My records show that Johan Michael Harholt (Harold) had a daughter Catherine by his second wife, Anna Marie Eckhart. This Catherine was probably born about 1780. However the Catherine who married Thomas Simmons in 1813 was born Catherine Varner. Catherine Varner married Michael Harold, Jr. in 1805. Michael, Jr. died October 4, 1807 and Catherine then married Thomas Simmons in 1813. Catherine had a couple of sons, John and Elias who were raised by Mr. Simmons. When they were adults they were variously listed on tax rolls, etc. as both Harholt and Simmons. My information comes mostly from Jeff Carr of Virginia who has done detailed research on both the Simmons and the Eckhardts and by association, the Harolds. I have that Thomas Simmons married Catherine Varner -- but have no proof. She was previously married to Michael Harold, son of John.
