I had a chance to get to the Pendleton County court house yesterday and look this up. I found 31 SMITH listings in Book 1, between the years of 1904-1921, but the names you wanted are not there. I checked the Death Register published in the Grave Register done in 1980, that covers 1853-1903, and found one SMITH between 1900-1903. I checked the index in the Death Register 1853-1903 for your names, and they are not there. I wrote down all the SMITHs listed in Register 1 between 1904-1921. If you, or anyone else would like this information, let me know and I will post it. I will also do lookups in the two Grave Registers; Marriages 1788-1853; or Death Register 1853-1903.
