    3. My recent trip to Pendleton and Highland Counties was much fun and a great success genealogically. One of the best things about the trip was meeting in person so many of you whom I had known only via the internet. I truly enjoyed the time I had with each and every one of you and your spouses. Thank you all for that time and for the knowledge and information you shared with me. Some other highlights of the trip: - Located and photographed the land where my 3g- and 4g-grandparents lived. - Found court records (in Augusta County) that placed Johannes Zacharias Rexroth the Pioneer in Virginia three years earlier than previously published. He was definitely there in 1764 and probably in 1763. - Several very knowledgeable Pendleton County people and I located the probable site of the home of Zach the Pioneer. I later located his nearby blacksmith shop with the use of a metal detector. I will write this up in a few weeks and share it with anybody who is interested. There is other information about the trip that I will relate in days to come. Right now I have a lot of catching up to do after having been gone for 2 1/2 weeks. Bill Rexroad Hutchinson, Kansas
