Do I believe that Walter Eye's book is correct regarding the ancestors of Johannes Zacharias Rexroth? Zach's direct line, as given on p. xi of Eye's book is the same as that given in vol. 94 of Deutsches Geschlechterbuch, which is widely accepted as a reliale source. So yes, I believe that much of it: Johannes Zacharias Rexroth (Rexerodt), b. 1725, son of; Johann Balthasar Rexerodt, b. 1673, son of; Hans Barthel Recksrodt, b. 1645, son of; Wenzelslaus Recksrodt, b. 1621 I have not studied all the brothers, sisters, cousins, etc. of Zach, so I cannot speak to the others listed on pp xi and xii of Eye's book. Is this information available on the web or only through the two books mentioned. Did your ggggggrandfather George and his brother Zach have a sister named Christina? Also if J. Zach Rexroth, b. 1725 was son of J. Balthasar Rexerodt, b. 1673 his father would have been 57 at the time of his birth.
