I believe Ezekial is the son of Leonard Day originally of Prince George Co. Md. He moved his family to Frederick Co. Md. and fought in the Rev. War. According to SAR records, his son Samuel also fought in the war. The family moved to Hardy Co. Va. after the war and part of Pendleton was Hardy at the time (I believe that is right?) This family is on the 1776 Colonial Census from Frederick Co. Md. Ezekial Day was 9 yrs. old in 1776, thus birthdate would be 1767. Here is that census......... Frederick Co.
