Hello Kay What a thrill to hear of your success, any tidbit of news gets us to do the "happy dance", my first time was about 1970 at a FHLC, There he is I screamed about my 2nd great-grandfather Benjamin Childress in Albemarle county, VA this was in Sacramento and another "happy dance", was in Salt (sigh) Lake for the ancestors of my husband, last biggee was right here at home when I got a marriage date for my husband's parents. Thank you for a most enjoyable letter VA & WV GenExchange County Coordinator for Albemarle County VA Pendleton County and Randolph Counties WV http://www.genexchange.org/county.cfm?state==va&county=albemarle http://www,genexchange.org/county.cfm?state==wv&county=pendleton http://www,genexchange.org/county.cfm?state==wv&county=randolph ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob and Kay Hurt To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, January 18, 2003 2:26 AM Subject: Regarding "A history of Pendleton County" Thank you for your information. I went looking on Familysearch.org to see if they had a copy of the book. They do, so will have them send a copy to my local library. Thank you. While I was there I looked into the Zickefoose line and found new information. I may have discovered my line back to 1620 in Germany. I will have to look into it more and verify it, but I am so excited. You don't want to see me doing the "happy dance", but I did it! Thank you, you helped me break through that brick wall! If we lived closer I would come over and kiss you. My line goes through Highlands County. They moved to Ohio, then my line went on to Kansas. Again, I can't thank you enough.
