A cousin? > My research says that this Nicholas Harper is the s/o Philip Harper and Ann Elizabeth Theiss, Philip s/o Adam Michael Harper & Isabel (Unknown). Elizabeth was also married to a Lightner. I guess it depends on whether you believe the old info that the Herbers came from England via Holland, or the web site that says they are from Germany. They may be cousins, or they may be from two distinct Harper lines.
