Jeff, According to the will of Nicholas Harper, he had a daughter named Elizabeth (who married Nicholas Harper) and a daughter named Ann Elizabeth (who married Peter Lightner) The Lightners were given land in Bath County, and the Harpers given land in Kentucky. Nicholas Harper's will (as extracted by Rick Toothman) is very detailed as to the husbands of his daughters. What confuses me is that Nicholas lists them in apparent order, i.e. oldest, second, third, etc. This order doesn't seem to coincide very will with ages from various censuses. Any ideas would be appreciated.
